A great day was had by the U15 Select team as they competed in the tournament hosted by the Mississauga Lady Jays. The team won their first two games and came away with a fourth place medal in the end. Thanks to all who participated and came out to support the team (players: Lakin, Emily, Chelsea, Alyssa, Alayna, Zoe, Hailey, Evelyn, Alissa, Ellie, and Beth and coaches: Isabel, Kyla and Tonia) in their first tournament of the season.

March 30, 2022- Richmond Hill Minor Softball Association is pleased to announce the new partnership with Kidspired Media. Kidspired Media is now the exclusive sponsorship agency for the club effective March 2022.

Kidspired utilizes a consultative approach to building custom marketing and promotional solutions for local and regional businesses providing them with the ability to connect with community youth sports organizations. Kidspired will focus on expanding the Club’s visibility to new prospects by developing value-based sponsorship packages that maximize return on sponsor investment. Ted Gendron, Principal at Kidspired Media said, “Kidspired Media is pleased to announce this partnership, this club has such a passion and love for softball, and we are ready to assist them in every way we can. We are excited to get started and look forward to developing a strong relationship within the organization and the York community.”

Kidspired will be contacting potential new sponsors immediately for exciting new opportunities available through the Club.

Closing Ceremonies will take place Wednesday, August 24. More details will follow.

In the meantime, the season will continue as follows for the various age groups:

U7 and U9 practices continue up to and including the week of August 15.

U11, U13, U15, U17/19 practices and games continue up to and including the first week of August. The weeks of August 8 and August 15 (depending on the schedule and how the team is doing) will be the York North Loop playoffs on both practice and game nights.

RHMSA is pleased to be offering a 6 week pitching clinic for players who are currently pitchers, or those interested in learning how to pitch. This CANpitch clinic, which is offered through Softball Ontario, will take place in Richmond Hill.

Junior Clinic:
Where: Bradstock Park
Date: begins May 19 for 6 consecutive Thursdays
Time: 6 – 7 p.m.
Cost: $125 + tax payable to Softball Ontario

Intermediate Clinic:

Where: Bradstock Park
Date: begins May 19 for 6 consecutive Thursdays
Time: 7 – 8 p.m.
Cost: $125 + tax payable to Softball Ontario
